As the founder of De Somno, Mary provides expert consultation and personalized sleep plans, addressing issues such as insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, bedtime resistance in children, and sleep-related anxiety. Through a compassionate and science-driven approach, she integrates behavioral therapy techniques, cognitive interventions, and lifestyle modifications to achieve lasting results.
Mary holds a MSc in Health Research, from the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary with a focus in Community Sleep Health and has completed specialized training in positive psychology, cognitive behavioural treatment for insomnia and pediatric behavioral interventions. Passionate about raising awareness of the crucial role sleep plays in mental and physical health, she also shares insights through workshops, public speaking, and online resources.
When not helping clients achieve better sleep, Mary has managed clinical research trials and is currently managing a global child sleep research study. Mary explores the latest research in sleep science to refine innovative, effective strategies to best serve her clients.
