Call for Board of Director Nominations for 2018

The Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine has a great opportunity to serve the behavioral sleep medicine community and to support the growth of behavioral sleep specialists.  To have broader impact as a society, we need members to serve in leadership positions who can help the SBSM define its voice.  This can be an excellent opportunity to shape the future of the SBSM by identifying strategic opportunities and strengthening the society’s impact on practice, education, and research.

We are currently accepting nominations for service on the Board of Directors in the following capacities:

  • One - President – Elect
  • One - Secretary-Treasurer
  • One - Director-at-Large
  • One - Student Member

Interested candidates are reminded to consider the time commitment associated with these positions.  A basic description of duties, responsibilities and terms of office is contained in the SBSM bylaws. To nominate an individual for any of the positions listed above, please submit a brief letter of interest and a two page curriculum vitae (CV) by 11:59 p.m. eastern time on January 31, 2018 to Kathryn Hansen, SBSM Executive Director at kathryn@behavioralsleep.org.
