Savannah is an LCSW currently accepting referrals for adults and older adolescents experiencing Anxiety, Insomnia, Nightmares, and Eating Disorders. She provides in-person treatment in Winter Park, Florida, and virtual treatment throughout Florida and New York. She trained in ACT-based CBT-I with the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, and provides CBT-I (insomnia) and CBT-N (nightmares).
Savannah Hipes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an advocate heart and inquisitive spirit. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Abilene Christian University and her Master of Social Work from the Florida State University, then went on to complete the Rural and Underserved Interprofessional Postgraduate Fellowship with the Gulf Coast Veterans Healthcare System in Pensacola, Florida. During fellowship, Savannah conducted therapy with veterans who’ve experienced military sexual trauma, severe and/or persistent mental illness, and who have been historically underserved such as women and LGBTQ+ individuals. She’s spent the last few years both in private practice and at The Renfrew Center of Orlando, providing diagnostic evaluation and supportive therapy for clients experiencing an eating disorder.
Savannah is trained in the following treatments: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Nightmares (CBT-N), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, the Unified Protocol for the Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders (UP), The Renfrew Center Unified Treatment Model for Eating Disorders (UT), and other mindfulness-based interventions.
Throughout her clinical work Savannah has developed a deep respect for client self-determination, and she values collaboratively working with their entire treatment team to support each client towards reaching their own goals.
