Dr. Mandy Zenda is a licensed clinical psychologist with a focus on behavioral sleep medicine. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Stanford Sleep Health and Insomnia Program, where she trained in non-medication treatments for sleep disorders. Her work addresses insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, hypersomnia, nightmares, jet lag, and parasomnias such as sleepwalking and acting out dreams.
Dr. Zenda provides evidence-based treatments that are research-supported, typically brief, and designed for long-term relief. Her approach is warm and collaborative, with a focus on setting meaningful goals and working together to achieve them. She offers tailored Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and guidance for individuals tapering off sleep medications.
Dr. Zenda leads a behavioral sleep medicine clinic at a VA hospital, where she provides care for veterans with complex sleep disorders and trains medical residents in CBT-I. In her Bay Area private practice, she offers individualized sleep treatment for professionals with demanding schedules, with early morning and evening appointments available.
