Dr. Byars is a board-certified pediatric psychologist with extensive clinical experience in pediatric behavioral sleep medicine. He also has extensive research experience in behavioral medicine with a focus in pediatric illness conditions including sleep disorders. Dr. Byars is a Professor of Pediatrics, and director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Clinical, Training, and Research Programs at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He also serves as the Associate Director of the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program. Dr. Byars’ clinical expertise is focused primarily in pediatric behavioral medicine with depth of experience in the application of behavioral assessment protocols and empirically supported treatment of pediatric sleep disorders in clinical and research settings.
